Technician - Etcetera Theatre

I have worked as a general technician using Qlab and a Zero88 Elara to facilitate different events that hired the space.

Lighting Designer - The BRIT School Dance 2024

For this show I was the lighting designer / operator. As the Lighting Designer it was my job to liaise with the director to understand what type of atmosphere and feeling they are trying to produce in each piece. Due to dance not following a script I decided to use cue points to communicate where I wanted my cues to go to the DSM. During the show as the Lighting Operator it was my responsibility to listen to the DSM and press go when cued too. I also had to busk the haze and smoke machine to ensure that the stage kept to the atmosphere needed throughout the dances.

Lighting Technician - Bromley Little Theatre

February 2024 - December 2024

I am currently volunteering and helping with rigging, programming and operating shows. The Theatre uses a mix of flying and non flying bars with an ETC Gadget running ETC Nomad on a PC.

Event Technician - Theatrecraft Next Generation

February 2024 - December 2024

In this role I helped unload all of the Whitelight and Unusual rigging equipment from two trucks. I then helped rig a flown LED wall and a small stage. Then on the show days I presented open moving lights and an ETC GIO to 6 - 14 year olds. We then had to derig all of the equipment and load it back onto trucks.

Stage hand - Priory Live Festival 2024

In this role I helped to set up multiple types of fencing. I also got to set up the dance tent DJ decks. I set up a vinyl DJ deck alongside a Pioneer CDJ and a few simple lights.

Technician - Camden Fringe

I have worked as a general technician doing both sound and lighting on various desks and using Qlab to work on a total of three shows so far as part of the Camden Fringe.

Rigger - DCLX Burlington Arcade

July 2024

Rigged multiple generic and moving fixtures, organised cables and rigged the power distribution.

Lighting Designer - BRIT Kids

February 2023 - Present

For this role, my duties are to programme the lighting, liaise with the director to design the lighting, and operate the show for many different of the shows put on by BRIT Kids.

Technician - Bush Theatre

June 2024 - July 2024

For this role, my duties are to supervise and assist in the get in of events and to help with whichever technical needs are needed by the company hiring the space. 

Rigger - Sidelight productions Jubilee Courage

July 2023

On this show I rigged an LED wall, moving fixtures, organised cables and power distribution.

Lighting Designer, Programmer and Operator - The BRIT School Coriolanus

February 2024 - May 2024

For this show I worked with the director to design the lighting. I then operated the show for two nights. In this show I was only given 18 par-cans and 8 pixel pars to use, this made it very difficult, I decided to use the pixel pars facing the audience to show colours and use them to do more effect lighting. I then used the par-cans to do front and back light.

Sounds Global 2023 @ The BRIT School

On this show, I was the keylight operator and crew, In this role aI had to help with the get in and get out then op the keylight which we used MA 2 to do. I also assisted in making the on-screen visuals with one other person.  

Peckham Fringe @ Theatre Peckham 

May 2024

For the fringe season at Theatre Peckham, I was a technical assistant on two shows, "Is There Work on Mars?" and "Brothers Keeper." My job duties included performing a rig check, liaising with the director about the lighting design, programming the shows, and operating the shows. 

• UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Production Arts @ The BRIT School
  September 2023 - June 2025
  Not yet achived but am currently studying towards it. This course covers Lighting, Sound, Stage Managment, Set Design and Costume. I have specialised in Lighting where we learn how to use ETC EOS, Capture, WYSYWIG and Vectorworks.
  We are assessed on how well we are able to put on different productions alongside our peers.

This showed the basics of most areas of Production Arts covering Lighting, Sound, Set, Stage Management and Costume.
